LCL, or "Less than Container Load," is a shipping service where multiple individual shipments are consolidated to share the space in a single container, making it an economical option for smaller, non-container-sized cargo. Instead of paying for a full container, customers only pay for the portion of the space their goods occupy. The process involves consolidating smaller shipments at a consolidation point, shipping them together, and then deconsolidating them at the destination for final delivery.
